NMNH Boost+
NMNH + Pterostilbene
Promotes Increased NAD+ Levels*

  • Benefits of Boosting NAD+: Increasing NAD+ levels through supplementation may counteract age-related cellular degradation, potentially improving energy levels, reduce oxidative stress, and promote longevity.*

  • Synergistic Benefits of NMNH and Pterostilbene: NMNH (Reduced Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is a highly bioavailable NAD+ booster that, when combined with pterostilbene, might enhance NAD+ levels more effectively.*

  • Advantages of Pterostilbene: Pterostilbene, a more bioavailable analog of resveratrol, has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that support cognitive function and cardiovascular health.* It is also known to activate SIRT1, promoting cellular longevity and metabolic stability.*

  • NMNH is Superior to NMN: NMNH increases NAD+ levels to a much greater extent and more rapidly.* Unlike NMN or NR, NMNH is thought to increase NAD+ levels in the liver, kidney, muscle, brain, brown adipose tissue, and heart.*

Synergistic Anti-Aging Effects of NMNH and Pterostilbene

NMNH (Reduced Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is a promising anti-aging compound, functioning as a potent NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) booster. Studies suggest NMNH can surpass both NR and NMN in efficacy due to its enhanced bioavailability. [1] It was shown that when NAD+ precursors like NMNH are combined with pterostilbene (NMNHPT), there is a synergistic effect that can increase NAD+ levels even further and with faster action. [2]

Benefits of Boosting NAD+

NAD+ plays a crucial role in cellular energy production, DNA repair, and metabolic processes, all of which tend to decline with age. Increasing NAD+ levels through NAD+ precursor supplementation may counteract age-related cellular degradation, potentially improving energy metabolism, reducing oxidative stress, and promoting longevity. [3]

Why Combine with Pterostilbene?

Pterostilbene is a polyphenol structurally similar to resveratrol but demonstrates a higher level of bioavailability. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and is shown to improve cognitive function, support cardiovascular health, and reduce cellular damage linked to aging.* It is also known as a potent sirtuin activator (SIRT1). Sirtuins are a group of enzymes that help maintain cellular homeostasis and prevent metabolic decline. [4] When combined, NMNH and pterostilbene work together to optimize NAD+ levels and protect against age-related cognitive decline, supporting overall brain health and longevity.* MDS Labs® set out to create a superior NAD+ boosting supplement based on a data-driven approach. This product is our NMNH Boost+, which is a 3rd party tested, pure NMNH and pterostilbene complex in a vegan capsule.

NMNH is Superior to NMN

Dr. David Sinclair’s original claims about NMN over five years ago on the Joe Rogan Experience marked the beginning of this supplementation trend. Since then, many additional studies have been completed. It is now believed that NMNH is the most bioavailable way to boost NAD+ levels.* This is important because it was found that both standard NMN and NR (Nicotinamide Riboside) are limited by their mild effects on the cellular NAD+ pool and necessitate higher doses. [5] The first randomized control trial of NMN revealed no significant change in muscle NAD concentration. [6] It was demonstrated that NMNH increases NAD+ levels to a much greater extent and faster than NMN or NR, and that it is metabolized through a different NRK and NAMPT-independent pathway in a murine model. [5] This study also noted that, unlike NMN or NR, NMNH causes a rapid and sustained NAD+ surge, which is accompanied by increased NAD+ levels in liver, kidney, muscle, brain, brown adipose tissue, and heart. [5] By taking the more bioavailable, reduced NMN (NMNH), we can potentially achieve much greater level of benefit.*

LIPOSOMAL NMN IS UNPROVEN

Several manufacturers offer “liposomal” NMN supplements to address the bioavailability issue. Unfortunately, liposomal delivery has no substantiative supporting data to indicate any sort of effectiveness with this particuluar supplement. All NMN, NR, and NMNH studies that demonstrated the ability to raise NAD+ levels, did so with non-liposomal compounds. Further, there has been no safety testing done on liposomal NR, NMN or NMNH. After much research, we concluded that non-liposomal NMNH is the most bioavailable NAD+ precursor*, as demonstrated through various clinical studies. Further resesearch also indicates a synergistic benefit can occure when NAD+ precursors are combined with stilbenoids like pterostilbene [2]. This is why we chose NMNH and pterostilbene for our NMNH Boost+ product.

Problems Facing the NMN Industry

Widespread fraud was uncovered by third parties concerning available NMN products. The top 21 NMN suppliers on Amazon were tested, and only three contained their claimed amounts of NMN. An astounding 14 brands were found to contain less than 1% of the claimed NMN amount. This, unfortunately, is nothing new in the supplement industry. The lack of oversight and concern for quality has been an ongoing issue.

MDS Labs was founded by a team of medical professionals who were frustrated by the current state of the industry. We embrace a direct-to-market approach, from development to distribution, enabling us to deliver premium, research-backed supplements directly to consumers without traditional retail markups. This model ensures both exceptional quality and value, making our products as accessible as they are effective. At MDS Labs, transparency is more than a policy—it’s the foundation of our business.
